ABOUT KATARINA

DIGITAL BUSINESS ACTIVATOR

Katarina is a mentor for millennials and teaches them how to get digital and benefit from the endless possibilities that a digital business can offer, a mother of two girls, a coffee addict and certified sommelier. She is "digital nomad lifestyle" fan and a non planned event planner (done a party for more than 600 people in the Arena (2000 old amphiteathre in Pula). 

She is the founder of the Digital Business Academy, a brand which aim is to help get digital and level up. Katarina is the creator of the digital product called GDPR essentialS (where she teaches business owners how to implement this very important Regulation without losing loads of time and without spending thousands) AND The Digital Business Academy (where she teaches millennials how to go prosper in the New Normal). 

She has been an Attorney at Law, with Masters in Law gained at the Law University in Florence, Italy and practising in Croatia. She is specialised in Intellectual property, Data protection and international contracts. She is also legal adviser for Croatia regarding the European Law.

Before opening her own her legal practice, Katarina was Director of Croatian Regions Office in Brussels and business development strategies and lawyer for one of the fastest growing startups in Europe - Infobip.

In 2015, Katarina, after becoming a mother for the first time, lost the possibility to work as a "traditional lawyer" and that was her defining  moment. Katarina decided that she will no longer play victim but instead she will step into her power. She committed to rewrite her story and within a few months managed to digitise her practice  and she made enough money to support her daughter's medical journey and after the successful recovery of her older daughter, have another girl and together with her husband decided to spend one month every year in another country, almost as a digital nomad. 

Since now they spent a month in Spain, where the girls attended a Chines kindergarten in 2017, and then in 2018 we spent a month in Estonia where the girls were learning Russian. She is an avid Montessori technics fan. 

In 2019 Katarina had the idea of "bringing the world to her hometown Pula" and thanks to Vishen Lakhiani and his magnificent team, Pula was chosen as the city campus in 2019 and more than 1000 people from 44 different countries have spent a month in Pula. 

For Pula, this was an unforgettable experience and it paved the way for the future digital nomads projects in Croatia.
