MY STORY

Six years ago I was exactly where you are today, plus I was in a very challenging situation and I felt powerless about my situation. 

I had just experienced a situation where my newborn daughter needed an expensive open heart surgery and we needed to pay it ourselves. 

Straight away I gained total clarity and came to realize that I had a choice. I can choose to be a victim and let this be the last chapter of my book of life OR I could decide to take power back and rewrite my story!

So what did I do? How did I overcome my greatest trauma?

I opened myself up to finding new options, seeking new mentors and online courses. 

Most of all, I had to see a different kind of future for myself. I opened myself up to learning so that I can create the financial freedom I truly believed I deserved and which would give me and my family THE POWER OF CHOICE!

I decided to put all my business digital, it was some sort of 2020 happening to me in the early 2015. I decided to work with only three clients who could work with me exclusively in the digital mode, and you know what? My profits improved and I even had more time to spend with my family. 

Thanks to that I created my own destiny. 

Everything went well, my daughter is now a happy healthy almost 6 years old, she has a great sister who is 4.5 years old. (oh yeah did I mention that I got pregnant with my second daughter during this challenging times?)

I now live a life of purpose and abundance and I am totally aware of the fact that it happened because I got digital and created new streams of income with my intellectual property which I turned into digital products. 

And I will teach you to do the same!

ABOUT KATARINA

DIGITAL BUSINESS ACTIVATOR

Katarina is a mentor for millennials and teaches them how to get digital and benefit from the endless possibilities that a digital business can offer, a mother of two girls, a coffee addict and certified sommelier. She is "digital nomad lifestyle" fan and a non planned event planner (done a party for more than 600 people in the Arena (2000 old amphiteathre in Pula). 

She is the founder of the Digital Business Academy, a brand which aim is to help get digital and level up. Katarina is the creator of the digital product called GDPR essentialS (where she teaches business owners how to implement this very important Regulation without losing loads of time and without spending thousands) AND The Digital Business Academy (where she teaches millennials how to go prosper in the New Normal). 

She has been an Attorney at Law, with Masters in Law gained at the Law University in Florence, Italy and practising in Croatia. She is specialised in Intellectual property, Data protection and international contracts. She is also legal adviser for Croatia regarding the European Law.

Before opening her own her legal practice, Katarina was Director of Croatian Regions Office in Brussels and business development strategies and lawyer for one of the fastest growing startups in Europe - Infobip.

In 2015, Katarina, after becoming a mother for the first time, lost the possibility to work as a "traditional lawyer" and that was her defining  moment. Katarina decided that she will no longer play victim but instead she will step into her power. She committed to rewrite her story and within a few months managed to digitise her practice  and she made enough money to support her daughter's medical journey and after the successful recovery of her older daughter, have another girl and together with her husband decided to spend one month every year in another country, almost as a digital nomad. 

Since now they spent a month in Spain, where the girls attended a Chines kindergarten in 2017, and then in 2018 we spent a month in Estonia where the girls were learning Russian. She is an avid Montessori technics fan. 

In 2019 Katarina had the idea of "bringing the world to her hometown Pula" and thanks to Vishen Lakhiani and his magnificent team, Pula was chosen as the city campus in 2019 and more than 1000 people from 44 different countries have spent a month in Pula. 

For Pula, this was an unforgettable experience and it paved the way for the future digital nomads projects in Croatia. 

Her modules and way of teaching is full of her first hand experience and trial and error examples!
